Livermore teams received Defense Programs Awards of Excellence: Weapon-Level Safety Test Series, Double Asteroid Redirection Test; National Nuclear Security Administration Lab, High Pressure X-Ray Diffraction Equation-of-State; Complex Hydrodynamics Integrated Experimental Team; Megajoule Neutron Imaging Radiography Experiment Design and Operations; and Special Materials Technology Realization. The National Ignition Facility’s (NIF’s) Ignition Team earned the distinct Exceptional Achievement Award for contributions to the achievement of fusion ignition.
Several Livermore project teams were awarded Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary’s Honor Awards for efforts benefiting the nation and DOE’s mission: the Atmospheric-Test Film Scanning and Analysis Project Team, DOE Ukraine Response Team, Fusion Ignition Communication Team, Supply Chain Management Team, NIF Fusion Ignition Team, DOE Fleet Management Team, and the Leadership in Climate Action Team.
